What’s a marijuana cooperative? Maybe the perfect fit for New York

June 1, 2021 – As New York gets closer and closer to launching a recreational marijuana market, it’s possible that marijuana cooperatives – owned by workers or shoppers – could be part of the landscape. The Democracy at Work Institute’s Anh-Thu Nguyen makes the case that this model would promote social equity and bring in the most tax revenue.
