WCNY’s ‘Financial Fitness’ panelists to discuss charitable giving on this week’s show

WCNY’s “Financial Fitness” host Jim Burns and his panel of experts will take a look at charitable giving in the wake of Hurricane Sandy on this week’s show, which airs at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, on WCNY channel 24.1.
Joining Burns this week are Linda Wright, executive director of the Salvation Army, who will discuss the state of social services in Central New York and how people are incorporating charitable giving in wills and estate plans; Peter Dunn, president and CEO of the Central New York Community Foundation, who will discuss how the foundation manages its $120 million portfolio to benefit Central New York charities; and Jeff Woodward, managing director of Syracuse Stage, who will talk about the state of the arts and how charitable giving affects quality of life.
Viewers can call in questions and ask advice when “Financial Fitness” airs live at 8 p.m. Thursdays onWCNY channel 24.1. The show re-airs at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays and Sundays on WCNY 2 (Time Warner Digital Cable channel 854) and can be streamed any time atwww.wcny.org/financialfitness.
