WCNY’s Classic FM to celebrate Earth Day with ‘Earth Rise—A Celebration of Earth Day in Classical Music’

WCNY, Central New York’s community-owned flagship public broadcaster, presents a special Earth Day program on its Classic FM radio station. Bruce Paulsen will host “Earth Rise—A Celebration of Earth Day in Classical Music” at 9 a.m. April 22.
The show will feature the music of Vivaldi, Beethoven, Respighi, Vaughan Williams, and Classic FM’s very own Diane Jones. The special show considers how the wonders of nature have inspired great music from composers across the centuries.
Classic FM airs on 91.3 in Syracuse, 89.5 in Utica/Rome and 90.9 in Watertown, the North Country and the Kingston area, at wcny.org and via the TuneIn app.
