WCNY to produce and televise 24th Congressional District debate

WCNY, Central New York’s public media company, will produce and televise a one-hour debate between Republican 24th Congressional District Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle, Democrat Dan Maffei and Green Party candidate Ursula Rozum Oct. 24.
The debate will be recorded in WCNY’s studios at 3 p.m. and will air at 6 p.m. on WCNY channel 24.3 and re-air at 8 p.m. on WCNY channel 24.1. The debate is produced in partnership with CNYCentral and will be televised on affiliate channels WSTM and WTVH at 7 p.m. Oct. 24.
The debate will feature Susan Arbetter, WCNY news and public affairs director and host of “The Capitol Pressroom” radio show and co-host of “Insight,” and Matt Mulcahy, CNYCentral anchor and managing editor.
The debate will also be available online at www.wcny.org.
