WCNY seeks volunteers for TelAuc

WCNY, Central New York’s flagship public broadcaster seeks volunteers for its live televised auction, TelAuc. The 49th annual auction features merchandise from companies across the region. Volunteers are needed to take bids from callers in the phone bank, make phone calls to winning bidders, and more!
WCNY also seeks warehouse assistants – people who coordinate setup of donated items in the studio, getting them ready for display on live TV. It’s a fun, fast-paced volunteer job that puts you right in the middle of the auction action! Training for all volunteer positions is included, along with dinner each auction evening.
The dates of auction are April 19-21; 26-28; and May 4 and 5. Shift times, which include training, are 5:30 -8:30 p.m. and 8-11 p.m. To signup to volunteer, visit wcny.org/volunteer or call (315) 453-2424.
