Our New Neighbors, Episode 8 – InterFaith Works’ Professional Pathways Program for New Americans

Central New York has become a primary location for re-settlement of immigrants and refugees from around the world. Many of them come to the U.S. with advanced degrees and high levels of training and career experience, but find themselves unable to get good job opportunities here. InterFaith Works‘ Center for New Americans operates a Professional Pathways program, intended to change that cycle. In this edition of Our New Neighbors, WCNY’s Ron Lombard talks with IFW Job Coaches Zachary Osolo and Mohamed Thiam about their critical work helping to place immigrants into our workforce, and what you can do to help.
