Our New Neighbors, Episode 14 – Hassina Adams

In 1999, Hassina Adams’ family fled a dangerous situation in their native Uganda. Hassina grew up in South Africa, and came to the U.S. with her siblings in 2015 to fulfill her late mother’s dream. Hassina is now a paralegal, serves as vice-president of the New Americans Forum, and is on the board of InterFaith Works. She tells her remarkable story of giving back to her community to Our New Neighbors hosts Ibrahim Mohamed and Maryna Bagovska.
