WCNY names new employees

WCNY, Central New York’s public broadcasting company, announces the following new hires:
Renee Ames, of Constantia, has been named WCNY’s new family literacy and instructional coordinator. Prior to joining WCNY, she was a teacher for the Baldwinsville School District. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in reading education from the State University of New York at Cortland.
Sheila Golden, of Syracuse, has been named auction sales representative. Prior to joining WCNY, she worked at Bank of America as a licensed investment specialist. She earned an associate’s degree in business from Onondaga Community College.
Michael Kite, of Liverpool, has been named director of corporate support. Kite oversees the day-to-day operations of the corporate support team and works on strategic solutions to meet WCNY’s sales and underwriting goals. Prior to joining WCNY, Kite was senior director of corporate relations at the National Wildlife Federation in Virginia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting and mass communication from the State University of New York at Oswego.
Kimberly Paninski, of North Syracuse, has been named auction sales representative. She also works as a licensed real estate agent for Kirnan Real Estate.
Rebecca Resig, of Fayetteville, has been named director of membership. Resig is responsible for developing membership strategies and services. Prior to joining WCNY, she was director of development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
