‘Lidia’s Italy’ Comes to Syracuse

Tickets are now on sale for a unique opportunity to dine with critically acclaimed chef, author and host of PBS’s “Lidia’s Italy” Lidia Bastianich at Justin’s Tuscan Grill, located at 6300 Yorktown Circle in East Syracuse.
The dinner, presented by WCNY, will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25. The $125 ticket price includes a four-course dinner featuring Lidia’s famous recipes and an opportunity to meet Lidia, who will share stories of her childhood in Italy, her immigration to America, and her love of Italian-American food.
“Lidia’s Italy” airs Saturdays at 2 p.m. on WCNY channel 24.1 and debuted on public television in September 2011. The show was nominated for an Emmy in 2008 and won the James Beard award for Best Television Show in 2009. That same year, “Entertainment Weekly” named “Lidia’s Italy” one of the best cooking shows on television.
