Funky Foodies is a podcast for kids, and it’s produced right here in Central New York. Tween foodies Frankie and Fern share a passion for food and its impacts on the environment. Adventures follow after they form an alliance called Funky Foodies, Inc., pledging to, “Save the Planet, One Veggie Burger at a Time.” Kid-friendly recipes reflecting the theme of each episode are included.
Episode 202: The Funky Foodies are determined to use their platform at the Moretown Middle School talent show to teach their fellow students about the downside of ultra-processed foods. Zara, Fern and Frankie are looking for an easy (healthy w/ unprocessed ingredients) snack, so if you have a better suggestion, that’d be great. Kid-friendly recipe: Homemade Granola.
