Since 1996, this weekly program hosted by the late Neva Pilgrim has combined varied musical styles into programs of interest to the listener. Programs are drawn from recordings sent to the Society for New Music and WCNY-FM from composers, performers, and recording companies around the world.
Programs feature new commercial releases, as well as live recordings that can be heard exclusively on Fresh Ink.
You can hear music by Pulitzer Prize Winners, MacArthur Genius Grant awardees, and up-and-coming composers and musicians.
Fresh Ink keeps you in touch with the latest in new classical music. We are pleased to continue to honor Neva Pilgrim’s legacy by presenting weekly Fresh Ink shows from the WCNY archives.
