Schola Cantorum of Syracuse is presenting Hugo Distler’s “Die Weihnachtsgeschichte” (The Christmas Story) in two performances – one in English and one in German. Music Director Barry Torres stopped into the studios to chat about this oratorio, the singers of the ensemble, and what’s happening as Schola evolves.
