Scholarships available for Colonial Williamsburg electronic field trips

Middle-school educators can teach American history with this season’s Colonial Williamsburg electronic field trips .
This season’s trips utilize the Colonial Williamsburg buildings and resources. Field trip attendees will explore the Bill of Rights, the three branches of government, 18th-century trades and the Continental Army, the complicated relationships between slaves and their masters, Civil War ironclads and the War of 1812.
WCNY will broadcast all seven of the field trips from October to April. For schools with a paid subscription, teachers and their students can participate in live and interactive sessions. Extensive online resources are also available.
Teachers can register to win a scholarship for a subscription by filling out the form below by Aug. 26.
Winners will be announced by Sept. 1.
