CNY Latino Podcast, Premiere Episode

(#1, 10/1/22) The CNY Latino Podcast project is a venture that the small Hispanic Media company CNY Latino tried to start in 2020. Several issues (funds, personnel, COVID, etc.) delayed its start, but in the middle of 2022, an invitation from WCNY motivated Hugo Acosta, the founder and president of CNY Latino, to launch this podcast. CNY Latino has now partnered with WCNY to start “The CNY Latino PODCAST Project,” and to expand upon CNY Latino’s existing weekly “Spanish” Radio show “Hablando con Central New York.” Similar to the Radio show, The CNY Latino Podcast Project will be a series of podcast episodes, with content about the Latino community, not only in the Central New York State area, but also the rest of New York State, the rest of the Country, and sometimes, the rest of the world. We will present an array of interviews we have already done, of celebrities and non-celebrity Hispanic people, to be presented on the Podcast. We hope our NEW audience will like this, and we will try to do every episode better and more representative to our culture.
El Proyecto CNY Latino PODCAST es un emprendimiento que la pequeña empresa de Medios Hispanos CNY Latino intentó iniciar en el 2020, para lanzar un programa de Podcast. Varios problemas (fondos, personal, COVID, etc.) retrasaron su lanzamiento, pero a mediados del 2022, una invitación de una reputada empresa local de transmisión de TV y Radio, realmente motivó a Hugo Acosta, el fundador y presidente de CNY Latino, a comenzar de una vez por todas, este… proyecto. Por lo tanto, CNY Latino se asoció con WCNY (la estación de PBS que cubre el área central del estado de New York y tiene su sede en Syracuse) para iniciar el “Proyecto CNY Latino PODCAST” en Octubre Y replicar el programa de radio semanal en Español “Hablando con Central New York”. Similar al programa de radio, The CNY Latino Podcast Project será una serie de episodios de podcast, con contenido sobre la comunidad Latina, no solo en el área Central del Estado de New York, sino también en el resto del Estado de New York, el resto del país y, a veces, el resto del mundo. Presentaremos una variedad de entrevistas en video que ya hemos hecho, a personas Hispanas famosas y no famosas, para que se presenten en el canal Podcast con ‘video’ y ‘sonido’, y solo con ‘sonido’, en nuestro semanario Programa de radio en “Español.” Esperamos que nuestra Nueva audiencia le gustará esto, y trataremos de hacer cada episodio, mejor y mas representante a nuestra cultura.
