CNY Heroes, Episode 24 – NewsChannel 9 Anchor Ryan Dean, on “Veterans Voices”

Dan Cummings’ guest on this edition of CNY Heroes is Ryan Dean, anchor/reporter for NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) in Syracuse. Ryan is an Emmy-award winning reporter on veterans’ issues and has covered two Honor Flight Syracuse missions to Washington, most recently Mission 21 in September. He also reports and produces a special program, “Veterans Voices,” which airs every November on NewsChannel 9. His next special airs on November 7 and will be posted after that on the Veterans Voices page. He talks to Dan about some of the veterans he’s had the opportunity to meet and outlines the stories they’ve shared.
