Clifford The Big Red Dog Visits Sangertown Square

Clifford the Big Red Dog, the star of the WCNY-TV animated children’s series, will greet children from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Sangertown Square in New Hartford.
A similar appearance on March 3 at The Shops at Ithaca Mall attracted more than 100 groups of parents and children who wanted to meet their favorite TV character.
Children can meet Clifford March 10 and receive free Clifford stickers and activity sheets. Parents can also receive information about WCNY’s move to a new facility in downtown Syracuse and learn how they can help Clifford “build a new doghouse.’’ For a small donation, children can have their picture taken with Clifford and WCNY will provide the photo.
Clifford will also appear at the Sangertown Mall on Saturday, May 19. Clifford’s visits to the Mohawk Valley are part of his mall tour that also includes stops at the Salmon Run Mall in Watertown (March 17 and May 12), The Shops at Ithaca Mall (May 5), Shoppingtown Mall in DeWitt (April 7), Carousel Center in Syracuse (May 26), and Great Northern Mall in Clay (June 2).
