Many women have mental health symptoms including anxiety, depression, and irritability from hormonal changes prior to their period and after giving birth. Dr. Nevena Radonjic, a Reproductive Psychiatrist at SUNY Upstate, discusses diagnosis and treatment options including medications and psychotherapy, and what women and their partners, friends and family can do to help.
