More than 100,000 of our friends and family overdose and die every year. After Henry Brigham’s son Devin died of an overdose, Henry founded Devin’s Rec Room for people to benefit from movement and community in sustaining recovery. Dr. Brian Johnson is the former director of Addiction Medicine at SUNY Upstate. Our host, psychologist Rich O’Neill, talks with Mr. Brigham and Dr. Johnson about the barriers to recovery that people who are addicted encounter, and how new medications, treatment approaches and spaces like Devin’s Rec Room offer new hope.
