Celebrity Chef Tiffany Derry to Headline WCNY’s 10th Annual Taste of Fame Fundraising Event

WCNY, Central New York’s public communications organization, will host its 10th annual Taste of Fame culinary fundraiser featuring Chef Tiffany Derry. Chef Derry is most recently recognized for her role as one of Bobby Flay’s Titans on Food Network’s “Bobby’s Triple Threat,” as a judge on PBS’ “The Great American Recipe,” and as co-host of Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America,” among other notable achievements. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the 12 graduates from the third class of the Academy. WCNY Classic FM Supports Bill Knowlton’s 51st Bluegrass Ramble Picnic

WCNY Classic FM, Central and Northern New York’s community-owned public broadcaster, invites you to attend the 51st edition of Bill Knowlton’s Bluegrass Ramble Picnic, the oldest bluegrass concert event in New York and New England. Central New York’s “Mr. Bluegrass,” Bill Knowlton, is co-producer and emcee of the Picnic. Since 1973, Bill has hosted the “Bluegrass Ramble” radio show, Sunday nights on Classic FM. Three times a year, WCNY’s Entertainment Academy offers a fourteen-week training program in the TV and film production trades. The Academy provides training for the next generation of television and film production engineers, electricians, set designers, sound mixers, and camera operators to help support the growing entertainment industry in Central New York. WCNY, Central New York’s public communications organization, is teaming up with Spatchcock Funk to throw the ultimate party, Smoke-a-Palooza, taking place on Friday, June 21 from 6-10 p.m. at Heritage Hill Brewhouse. The event features meet-and-greets with the Spatchcock squad, unlimited beers and seltzers, appetizers, BBQ dinner stations, dessert, cigars, flash tattoos, and live music from the legendary national band, Sophistafunk.
