Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers in Central New York, affecting thousands of women and families across the region. In this episode of Built to Serve, CEO Kathleen Mezzalingua joins host Charles Roberts to discuss the pivotal role Saint Agatha Foundation plays in supporting breast cancer survivors in Central New York

Founded by Kathleen’s daughter Laurie, who passed away in 2009 after battling the disease for 12 years, Saint Agatha Foundation works to reduce the financial burden associated with breast cancer, by offering funding to individuals for essential needs, such as medication, transportation, and medical equipment. They also foster a network of support and resources, allowing survivors to focus on recovery and well-being, strengthening both individual lives and the wider community.
