WCNY, Central New York’s flagship public broadcaster invites the public to attend three events in April and May. The events are presented by Premier Events, a Division of WCNY.

Back by pouplar demand, WCNY and Painting with a Twist Syracuse-DeWitt present a Bob Ross Paint Bash Take 2. Guests are invited to celebrate 35 Years of Bob Ross and “A Joy of Painting” by painting a “happy little” masterpiece.
Paint a one-time masterpiece, with step-by-step instruction from the artists of Painting with a Twist. Win big door prizes, enjoy local food, wine and beer samples, cash bar, and games ALL while experiencing WCNY’s TV Studios.
COST: $40 for WCNY Members and $50 for Non-Members

New Season Soriée

Get ready for the Season 5 premiere of “The Great British Baking Show” at WCNY’s New Season Soriée inside the WCNY TV Studios and Courtyard. Preview the new season, enjoy tastes and samples from local restaurants, wineries, and breweries across Syracuse, the Mohawk Valley, Ithaca, and Finger Lakes region. Test your knowledge with show trivia while learning some baking facts! Enjoy sounds of renowned local musician Paul Davie, and other live performances. A great way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend!

CNY Legends: Success Beyond Sports

CNY Legends: Success Beyond Sports brings together three incredible leaders, each who have left their mark on our local community, the world of sports, and even their imprint across the country: Dennis DuVal, Former Syracuse University Basketball Player/NBA, Erin Hamlin, USA Olympian, and Floyd Little, Former Syracuse University Football Player/NFL.
Be front and center in our WCNY Television Studios as we hear directly from each of these guest panelists. Guests will gain insight to the key ingredients of success. Hear examples of how to be a stronger community leader and/or public service advocate. Get powerful advice on how to overcome obstacles on your success journey. Find out what’s next for Dennis, Erin or Floyd! Show your support of their careers, the impact they have made, and the legacy they are leaving across our region.
