Beloved PBS Kids character Bob the Builder to visit Syracuse June 18

On June 18, WCNY will welcome Bob the Builder to the WCNY courtyard as part of its Live@WCNY event series! Bob is the beloved PBS Kids character known for using science, technology, engineering and math skills to solve problems and get things done with a positive attitude.
The free public event will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the WCNY Broadcast and Education Center, located at 415 W. Fayette St. in Syracuse.
Bob will be meeting fans at 11 to 11:30 a.m., 12 noon to 12:30 p.m., and 1 to 1:30 p.m. The event includes:
- Bob the Builder giveaway items
- Bob the Builder television episodes broadcast on the courtyard’s “big screen”
- Activity stations hosted by several family-friendly organizations including the Children’s
Consortium, Greening USA, Little Lukes, OCCRA, Onondaga County Public Library, Partners in
Learning-MANOS, and the Salvation Army Education Centers
- The chance to register your preschooler to receive a free Imagination Library book in the mail
every month
- In honor of Father’s Day, Dads will receive a free book to read to their children to encourage
learning throughout the summer
Rain location: Bob will receive guests in the WCNY studios.
