‘Behind the Woman’ Season 5 Premieres with SU Women’s Basketball Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack

WCNY, Central New York’s public communications organization, will premiere season 5 of its television series, “Behind the Woman” on Tuesday, May 7 at 9:30 p.m. on WCNY-TV. In the new season, host Dr. Juhanna Rogers will shine a spotlight on the remarkable women who are influencing and shaping the Central New York and Western New York regions, inspiring others with their compelling stories and impactful contributions.

Dr. Juhanna Rogers opens the new season with Syracuse University Women’s Basketball Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack. They delve into her basketball journey and the significance of representing SU. Additionally, Legette-Jack shares valuable insights from her coaching career and elaborates on her choice to come back to Syracuse, aiming to play a pivotal role in rebuilding the program.

“This season, we are honored to have Felisha Legette-Jack and the other inspirational female leaders joining us on the couch. Coach Jack’s story is an inspiration to all those who have had setbacks in their life but found the courage to pick themselves up and reach new heights that they never thought possible,” said Francis Tavino, producer of “Behind the Woman.”

The eight-part television series will air on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. through the end of June on WCNY-TV. The series is sponsored by JP Morgan Chase Bank, VIP Structures, and Wegmans.
