  St. Stephens Festival of Music 2024 concludes this Friday with the opera “Highway 1, USA” by William Grant Still.  Festival music director David Ross came to the studios to talk about the opera, the incredible music, and the universal story that Still tells so beautifully.  He also shared just why this is perhaps the perfect introduction to opera for anyone who has never been before.

WCNY’s 10th Annual Taste of Fame Fundraising Event

WCNY, Central New York’s public communications organization, will host its 10th annual Taste of Fame culinary fundraiser featuring Chef Tiffany Derry. Chef Derry is most recently recognized for her role as one of Bobby Flay’s Titans on Food Network’s “Bobby’s Triple Threat,” as a judge on PBS’ “The Great American Recipe,” and as co-host of Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America,” among other notable achievements.
