Black Health and WCNY present a live virtual town hall on Zoom to provide information about the COVID-19 vaccine. The new “Ask the Doctors” feature will give the community the opportunity to ask Dr. Darryl Dykes and Dr. Sharon Brangman questions regarding the COVID 19 vaccine. The program will be facilitated by Helen Hudson, City of Syracuse Common Council President. Deputy Mayor Sharon Owens, City of Syracuse Mayors Office will be a panelist.
Black Health Town Hall Goals on Zoom and TV
The goal of the Town Hall is to facilitate a conversation to dispel myths and misconceptions about the vaccine.
Highlights from the Town Hall will be used to create a special TV program to air on WCNY-TV in March, April, and May.
The recording of the virtual event will be posted following the event, and the TV program schedule will be posted in the coming days.
The virtual event and TV program is sponsored by Excellus.
